My Story
Justin Nicholson, or known as J.Nic is an East coast rapper out of Attleboro Massachusetts. Justin started rapping in Iraq with his fellow soldiers. After being discharged from The United States Army he gave up rapping. You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this video Starting off with just a laptop and a headset he recorded a few songs. After being recognized by the owner of hardwired studios' very own Mark Cornell, J.Nic stared recording professionally. After years of struggling with depression and loss of his father and grandmother he has went on to put out five mix tapes. No doubt this was probably Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome as a result of his time in Iraq. His mixtapes in chronological order are: "Average Joe, For The Fans, Trinity, Average Joe 2(AJ2)." J. Nic is now working on his commercial album Black and White featuring single Patron that hit 1million views in less than a week. He pays homage to the past, by sampling the best classic Motown sounds such as Aretha Franklin and Diana Ross and the Supremes. Because of his military experience on the frontlines , his lyrics are especially authentic and poignant. Justin Nicholson has shown his mental toughness in coping with his inner demons and his resilience is very evident.
